I am such a geek for quotes, and whenever I see a great quote that says something wise about life, something that makes me feel a bit better or something that makes me think: Darn! Why didn't I think of that one!, I never hesitate to throw myself over my notebook and write it down.
Today, I found a quote by Scarlett Johansson which I found quite inspiring. One thing most women want to feel, is the feeling of being sexy, and who better to turn to for tips than the women who oozes sex appeal without having to take off all of their clothes and putting it all on display. I have so much respect for women who are comfortable in their own skin and who don't feel the need to act after a certain sexy formula (push-up bras, teeny tiny miniskirts etc.) And Scarlett is definitely a woman who has a sexiness that is inspiring instead of trashy. And I think she knows it herself...
If you're comfortable with yourself, then it's sexy. Maybe people think I look sexy because I feel sexy. I am a very liberated person that way. I'm very comfortable with my sexuality, my body, my face - well, sometimes I'm not comfortable with my face, but it's stuck there and there's nothing I can do about it.
Which women do you find sexy?
Ps. On Tuesday the 9th of September it will be two years since this blog saw the first ray of light. Yes, it will be StyleSpot's 2nd birthday, and since I used to be such a lazy blogger before I shamefully have to admit that this blog never got to celebrate it's 1st birthday. I know, I know..I can just picture the stunned expressions on your faces and the disappointed sighs. Still, bare with me and hopefully the 2nd birthday will make up for the lost celebration of the 1st.
Since I care for you, my readers, so much, I thought that I'd let you decide how this day will be celebrated here on the blog. Just suggest anything you'd like to see here on StyleSpot (I know I'll probably regret saying this) and I'll see what I can do. Either leave a comment with your suggestion(s) or you can e-mail me at: stylespot@hotmail.com I'm looking forward to hearing your suggestions!
