The East Coast was hit HARD last night. Sure, it’s beautiful to watch from the comforts of your home, but it’s never safe to drive during a blizzard. ‘Real Housewives of NY’ star Kelly Bensimon barely escaped crashing on the Long Island Expressway last night while heading home.

She tweeted about spinning out of control.

During the blizzard, we spun out in my Mercedes on the LIE. I was petrified. It was like skating not driving. I need a #safe car

And here I thought Mercedes were one of the safest cars on the market! Perhaps Kelly Bensimon should invest in some snow tires.

Thank goodness everything worked out and she got home safely.

Showing off her fabulous figure, Kelly Bensimon was spotted getting a little poolside sun in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on Wednesday (October 20).

Sporting a sexy black bikini, the "Real Housewives" hottie hit up the W's Wet Deck where she waded in the pool and sunned herself while reading Chelsea Handler's "Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang".

Tweeting to her fans and followers upon getting up this morning, Miss Bensimon wrote, "Goood am ft.lauderdale"

Also promoting herself via Twitter during the course of the day, the brunette beauty tweeted, "my new jewelry line comes out soooon. @katDeLuna loves it. Wooooo" (Hollywood Gossip)

Kelly Bensimon Launches Jewelry Line

Kelly Bensimon from The Real Housewives of NYC, launched her jewelry line, Kelly, yesterday. The event was held at LAVO nightclub in Las Vegas.

Honestly, after watching the show, I'm actually surprised that there are companies out there willing to align themselves with her. She had a breakdown, and when I say breakdown, I mean full fledged, needed to check herself in somewhere, BREAKDOWN. And then afterward, she seemed like she was in denial about what happened.
