The covers for Paris Vogue and Germany Vogue were recently published, and I am guessing editors in chief, Christiane Arp and Emmanuelle Alt, were surprised when they saw each others covers as they both have featured the same dress from Dolce & Gabbana's S/S 2011 collection.
Gisele Bundchen wears it for Paris Vogue, shot by Inez &Vinoodh. I love the feel of spring that this cover expresses, and Gisele looks gorgeous, but to be honest I do expect a bit more from Emmanuelle Alt, since it is her first cover as editor in chief. However, some say that this is her first cover, while others claim that everything for Vogue Paris has been set until the end of the season, meaning that Carine Roitfeld chose this cover. The world of fashion is a busy place.
Britt Maren covers the Vogue Germany issue in the gorgeous, summer dress by D&G. I really like this cover, especially because I love Britt Maren's short, blonde hair and how good it looks with the dress. The blue background is also very fresh and summery. It seems like the whole world of Vogue are going crazy for this dress, as Vogue Spain featured Constance Jablonski wearing it for the February 2011 cover.
Which cover to you like best? Vogue Paris or Vogue Germany?
