Irrfan Khan and Soha Ali Khan have paired up for a film that is meant strictly for adults. The Anil Sharma movie, titled Dil Kabaddi , is a tale of sexual politics, adultery and extra-marital affairs. Basically, it highlights the lack of loyalty in relationships.
Irrfan’s character in the film is that of a cool executive who isn’t satisfied with his female partner and keeps looking for sexual and emotional gratification elsewhere. It is a full-on promiscuous character with no regrets or apologies.
In fact, this role was initially supposed to be played by Rahul Bose and Irrfan was approached to play a professor. But Irrfan liked the promiscuous character so much that he insisted on playing it. Incidentally, Rahul also liked the character of professor and happily swapped roles with Irrfan.
Irrfan minces no words in saying that the film is “strictly for adults”.
However, the movie will not have much skin show by the lead actress Soha Ali Khan.
“Only the situations in the plot have sexual connotations. There is no skin exposure as such in the film,” says a source.
