Socky Trend..Tricky Trend

With leggings finally dying a death, there are now some great ways to clad your legs this season according to handbag.com.

Miuccia Prada came up with the most novel... footless socks! Winter pedicures all round then, ladies.

The footless socks come in gorgeous colours, lilac and black, camel and blue or egg-yolk yellow and purple. They are almost like football socks, and will brighten up a grey dress in a jiffy. Bright block colours will give a new-season slant to any outfit.

Be brave, be bold - just watch out for frostbite in your toes... I wonder if this trend will reach here (philippines), we can't have frostbites because of the warm weather but we can use socks during rainy season. One thing is for sure, socks will give warmth for the cold and gloomy weather.

Kim Kardashian Swabs The Decks Of Fashion

Ay, mateys! Tis here yarg parfect example of why shorties shouldn't wear extraaaaaaaar wide-legged anything! How much hornswagglin' bilge kayne she fit up them thur bellbottoms? Maroon the landlubber and her boo-tay smartly 'afore she's blackspotted! Yarg! Avast! Ahoy! Oy!

Autumn is a (chilly) breeze

Just a quick update, I've been catching up on all the Project Catwalk's that I've missed - focusing on the first series as it's far better. Anyway, it is the weekend before I go to Paris and I am thinking about my suitcase and what to put in it. Autumn/winter styling is here and this is my favourite time to go shopping. Summer shopping is generally hot, there are crowds of people with body odour and attitude but to top it off the clothes are more often than not a little dull. Now there is a chill in the air, the shop windows look appealing, people are happy to get in the warmth of the shops and the clothes are far more interesting and varied. The weekend has seen me visit COS on Regent Street and be suitably impressed. I've been looking for the right black jeans for some time, wanting something I can wear most days and in different environments but still look right and I found the pair for me, all for £40! To top it off I bought a black and grey plaid shirt and a skinny grey belt. All in all i got the makings of a great outfit for under £100. Great, affordable style! From here I went into Swear on Carnaby Street and was undecided about a pair of shoes which were almost exactly what I wanted but not quite...It was just the pointed toe and the detail that was not quite right.
At the moment the clothes that are getting me excited are a mixture of Burberry Prorsum, Dior Homme and Raf Simons items. I am taking inspiration from Ian Curtis and Christopher Bailey. It is all about chunky cardies, fingerless gloves, patent accessories. I love this time of year...

Here is Bailey (during the a/w 07 collection) playing with menswear proportions, mixing outwewear with knitwear so well.

Bring A New Color To Your Shoes With NDEUR

Matthieu Missiaen, a 25-year-old Toronto-based graffitist, may have the one-of-a-kind provisions you've been looking for.

His label Nduer consists of soaring pumps to old-school high-tops and are fashioned using a canvas of vintage leather footwear, on which he doodles street-art-inspired scenes with oil-based paints.

The effect is fresh - a stylistic palate cleanser after the bland taste of your same-old, overpriced, black pumps.

Tell Me About It, Stud: Cuffs, Bracelets & Bangles

I so wuv/ want these studded and jeweled bracelets:

($80, Hayden-Harnett)
Best of the bunch. It doesn't have that annoying air of "OMG! I ALSO OWN A BLACK RAMONES T-SHIRT BECAUSE I VERY MUCH WOULD LIKE TO LOOK 'PUNK'" sorta look that I SOOO hate.

($22, Asos.com)
Love the brown-and-gold '70s color combo.

An enjoyable Donatella Versace vibe (about the only time you'll see the words "enjoyable" and "Donatella" used alongside each other in such harmony.)

($198, CC Skye, Boutiquetoyou.com)
I'm still uncertain whether this sucks or not. I definitely like their slimmer cuffs much better. Thoughts? Comment it.

($45, Shopintuition.com)
BTW, this is fucking terrible. As much as I love zeppolis, it looks like something you'd see for sale at the San Gennaro festival or something alongside those personalized airbrushed license plate covers or fiber optic light-up flashlight things. Horbs.
